My name is Rachel, and my inspiration for this site came during my high risk pregnancies with my boys.

As I searched the web for ideas and answers, I found that good information was hard to find amongst the hundreds of websites out there.

Websites that either promoted gimmicks and fads or pushed supplements.

I want to give you something different.

My goal: To give you the best of what’s around in one place


Like you, I seek advice that is genuine and practical from someone qualified and authentic...

So, Fit Mommy was born! Into this site I combined my love of educating and helping others with my interest in all things health and fitness!

As a practicing physical therapist, my exercise philosophy is based on clinical science and proven techniques. I am not a celebrity trainer sculpting starlets and selling voodoo juice. I’m a lady like you who believes in healthy weight management and regular exercise for real women.

Whether you are pregnant, recovering postpartum, or just a busy mom; I'll share everything I know about exercise, nutrition, safety, and physical fitness in general.
